HBRC invests as a principal and together with our investment partners in companies operating in the identified market sectors. We look for strong, committed and incentivised management teams, who have a developed business model capable of rapid growth. We invest with our investment partners in companies either pre-revenue, in early revenue generation and in later stage infrastructure.
Our targeted transaction size is between £5m-£100m although we would lead and manage larger infrastructure related fundraisings with our investment partners and through our network of specialist relationship transaction advisors.

The rapidly evolving sector dynamics will create opportunities for new companies as traditional fossil fuel based business models become rapidly outmoded. Equally we believe earlier stage investment capital is not yet sufficiently liquid to support this structural change. HBRC is specifically set up to support new innovative owner-managed businesses looking to benefit from these market dynamics.

We have extensive relationships with global investors from the renewable sector and wider funding markets. HBRC would lead on all financing rounds for investee companies, leveraging our network of transaction advisors as required. This frees up management to focus on the delivery of the business strategy.
